Dungeons & Dragons

Join us in a fantasy tabletop role-playing game for 10yrs+ that allows you and your friends to work together to create a fun story and go on epic adventures where your imagination is endless!

You will explore new worlds and terrain as a character of your choice or creation, showing bravery and honour or love and kindness, or even mischief and cunning. With the help and guidance of your Dungeon Master (DM) you will build relationships, gain confidence, and learn and develop new skills.

You don’t need to know anything about D&D to join, our very own Dungeon Master will help you every step of the way. The story is set in front of you, but it is completely up to you on how your character reacts and interacts with the world around you.
All you need is your imagination and a pencil, and you too can be the greatest adventurer this realm has ever seen. For more information on Dungeons and Dragons go to:

Who? We recommend the sessions for young people aged 10 years+

When? We run two DnD sessions on a Friday evening 6pm-9pm- with enough interest we will run more sessions so just send us a message to note your interest.

Where? The sessions take place in our yurt at our Forest School site based at Auchincruive. The yurt has a stove and is very well insulated so is fine for the Winter weather and creates great ambience for Dungeons & Dragons.

Why? Dungeons & Dragons is a popular game right now for young people and adults, it's a great way to socialise, build confidence and many have found long lasting friendships and connections within their gaming community- please read more about how awesome D&D above. Many of the young people that attend this group also attend our Teen Forest School sessions.

Who leads the sessions? Your Dungeon Master for your adventures is our very own Dez. Dez has had experience with Dungeons and Dragons for over 5 years and has recently begun leading their own campaigns with their friends. Enhanced PVG, first aid trained and trained in woodland leader skills. They came to love and enjoy being a DM as it allows them to create and build upon a world and a story that the party members can bounce off of and enjoy. It is a forever changing art that always keeps them on their toes. They look love seeing how the participants react and play with the world and the characters they have created. It brings a new community together, new friendships, and builds upon their teamwork and problem solving skills.

How much is it? The 3 hour session is £14.99 each which includes full Master tuition and adventure-planning, snacks and refreshments. We are a not-for-profit organisation and this cost just covers expenses to ensure the group can run sustainably. Sessions are kept small at a maximum of 7 players.

How do I book? Our current DnD Campaign is FULL but with enough interest we will run more sessions. We also run sessions for Schools and Groups- DnD is great for youth clubs or as a support session for young learners that would benefit from smaller, intimate learning group; particularly promoting health and wellbeing. Just get in touch ti discuss further!
